INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Deccan). Satavahanas (Andhras). "Sri Satakanisa", circa 1st century. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 4.41 g), Kosikiputra Satakarni. RANO KOSIKIPUTA SIRI SATAKANISA ('King Kosikiputa, Lord Satakanisa' in Brahmi) Elephant to right, probably with upraised trunk. Rev. Tree with big leaves. B.U. Abels: Two Coins of Kosikiputra Satakarni, in: Numismatic Digest 38 (2014), p. 69, ill. 2 (this coin). Apparently unique. Light scratches and with minor corrosion, otherwise, about very fine.
